Community Organisations
- Belclare Community Council
The Community Council is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Community Centre in Belclare, the Sports Field in Claretuam and is the organising body for the Rural Social Scheme which is currently carrying out enhancement works in the parish.
- Corofin Community Development Association (CCDA)
Corofin Community Development Association was established in February 2012 and replaced the former Corofin Community Council. The aim of the CCDA is to bring about positive change for Corofin. A large part of achieving that aim is a programme of work to provide recreational facilities for the entire community.
- Corofin Community Alert Scheme
Corofin Community Text Alert is up and running.
Anyone who notices suspicious activity can ring Tuam Garda Station at (093)70840.
You MUST tell them that you are a member of the Corofin text alert scheme.
Registration is still open to all members of the community.
