Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers and to the co-operation and understanding of the public, the resumption of public masses has gone smoothly. At this stage it is important to remember that we are not out of the woods yet so sensible precautions are still necessary. Hand sanitizing and social distancing of at least two metres are still our best defence against the virus. Masks are recommended when in indoor spaces such as churches. Numbers are still limited to 50 in the church for the time being. For the time being, no other masses will be celebrated in the parish other than funeral masses and Weddings.
Mass is broadcast on the parish radio on 105.9fm from Corofin and on 95fm from Belclare. Masses are also live-streamed and can be accessed on corofinbelclare.ie. The readings can also be accessed on our website. Those who wish to receive Holy Communion at home can arrange to have a family member or neighbour bring it to them after mass any day of the week.
